keeping cories with tilapias..

Post by squid »

is it ok to keep tilapias with my cories?
i was given some fries about 1/4 inch but they are about 2 inches now and eat like pigs...
would it be better to separate them from my cories?

I don't know how well they will mix but I have definitely seen some mean Tilapia that probably wouldn't think twice about going after a cory. Or anything else for that matter. Good luck but sounds like a gamble to me.

Cories are a peaceful fish. Tilapia, on the whole, are not. Please keep them separate!
