Bought as L243,is that correct,need confirmation.

it is an Hypancistrus also
My first thought when looking at your fish makes me believe it is
Any idea of the country of origin?

Sorry i have no idea of country of origin unfortunately.They were sold to me as L243.I was a little unsure of that but got them anyway.
I too thought they looked more like L199,they are similar to the pic of L199 in DATZ.Seems to be the nearest match so far.

Glad i got them anyway

I agree with Yann, the second is L199 Hypancistrus sp and are exported as L199/L340/LDA19 from Colombia.
