Ideas on what type of cory this can be

Im sorry, no pictures here. I went to same store where I got my cories polystictus (sp??) (and they were labeled "swchartzi cories") and saw these other cories who looks like the ones i have, so they have tiny little black dots, BUT they have black spot on their dorsal fin. Any ideas??

No, Dave, it's very similar to the one in the second link you've posted but the black spot is on their dorsal fin. I want to buy them but I'd like to know what they are first. Thanks for helping me!!

well, there are a few in your catalog that look like the one im talking about:

acrensis
acutus
copei
julii
leopardus

ack! i know there must be some subtle differences between them, but i cant tell... im going to buy a couple and will be back in an hour probably

Nope, I was totally wrong! They look like trinileatus!

in one of them, the lateral line goess all the way to where the gills are, the second one the line goes up to the middle of the body and the third one you cant really see the lateral line, it's kinda "fragmented"

The first Cory didnt make it. It died. I think the guy at the store hurt it when he netted it, because he gave it to me for free. He said "it was not healthy"

I would think C. trilineatus, its difficult with pictures of fish in bags as the bags distorts the image. C. trilineatus are quite variable in colour pattern.

Yes, and it looks like C. leopardus is another possibility. Unless I'm missing something, leopard cories look remarkably similar to your catfish. The patterning of these cories varies greatly as well, as can be seen by looking in the Cat-eLog.
