Keeping Petricola fry alive
Keeping Petricola fry alive
I had my first spawn in March, and another in April. I had no problem with the fry. I keep my fish room at 78 degree's and I don't air condition during summer months. It seems to me that every since the temperature outside has gotten warmer than the fish room I have not been able to keep new fry alive. I was wondering if the warmer weather dose have something to do with them dying? Or if anyone has had simular problems in the past? Thanks for any info.
The room and the tank are still at 78 or did the temperatures increase with the increase outdoors?
My bedroom (where my tank is) is very warm, and the temp. in my tank jumped to 88 at one point, although it seems to have settled back to 80-82 recently.

petricola
The temperature dose rise in the fish room, but not nothing like outside temperature. I would say an increase of 4 to 6 degrees in side the fish room. Thats why I'm wondering if this increase in temperature is killing the petricola fry.
