Breeding C. Arcuatus

Post by laurab5 »

Well, my female blue ram disappeared from my 10 galon. Not in the filter, not on the floor, and I doubt my 3 arcuatus ate her. Anyways, I think I will try and breed these. Are these a more difficult cory to breed. I think I have 1 male and 2 females, but will post pictures sometime. Any info about these would be appreciated. Have never bred cories.

...hmmm....I think C. arcuatus is a tough one to start with. They are supposed to be hard to breed, but I've never tried this one myself. If i were you, I'd try some of the "easier" species first, like C. panda, C. paleatus or others. Look through this forum...there are plenty of treads about breeding. They should point you in direction og what to do. If not, then ask again :-)

Best regards,
