CSG Open Show

Hi All,

Just to remind al UK members that in just over a weeks time on the Sunday the 18th September its Show time. We have 27 classes to cover for every species of Catfish. Prizes will be awarded for the first four places in every class, with major trophies for section winners. No exhibitor will go home empty handed.

This will probably be the largest display of Catfish species to be seen in one place anywhere in the world, at last years event there were more than 90 catfish species from 130 entries on display and from the feed back I have received this years event promises to be even better and I am expecting to see at least 100 different species.

To add to the days enjoyment there will be a auction where I am sure many bargains will be had, not to mention the chances of obtaining some rare and unusual fish.

Hi Ian,

Is there a timetable for the day? Like when you need to bench fish, when the auction starts etc?

Hi Jools,

Doors open at 10.00 am. Booking in and benching fish will take place from 10.30 am till 12.30 pm.

Booking in of auction lots will also run in parallel.

The fish Judging and the Auction will start at 1.00 pm, with a break in the auction for refreshments at around 2.30 pm.
