that's what i thought - based on pic to pic ID with the cat-elog, but the species size doesn't seems to match.

my specimen is currently abt 6 inches but the cat-elog data shows otherwise.

any advise ?

There is a typo in the Cat-eLog. The max size should read 29 cm (not 2.9 cm).

I think these should be kept as with other Leptodoras. Fine sand substrate, strong to moderate current.

Thanks for the clarification.

read somewhere that this species is found in "deep water". so what's the implication in term of aquarium setup or any special characteristics of such species ?

The deeper sections of a river tend to have cooler water, and usually have a stronger current. It will also be very dark most of the time, of course.
