This is a Trachycorystes alright, although I dare not say which exact species. The elongated lower jaw gives it away.
This is a predator. At day it sits motionless and at night it is cruising the waters for prey. The hairlike teeth (or teethlike hairs) are perhaps to get a better grip on its prey. Not for biting though, because they are swallowers.
I think temperature range should lie between 23-27 degrees Centigrade. Great fish.
