fish recognization

Does anybody know what this fish are?

im not sure, but to me it looks like a Frogmouth Catfish

Have some patience. I'm sure that for example Silurus will come along and tell you exactly what it is. Your original post has only been there for like half an hour... There are SOME people on this forum that has other things to do than post to the forum, and they may not visit the forum every half hour.

This is Batrachus grunniens aka Batrachus batrachus (incorrect). Common name Frogfish and /or Lionhead catfish (also incorrect). This belongs to the Stonefish group and doesn't live long in freshwater. At first it lives in brackish water and when it gets older it migrates to the sea.

Those are Allenbatrachus grunniens, a freshwater/brackish frogfish.
