PlanetCatfish content onto Google homepage

Post by Jools »

All~

As you kow we added an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed to Planet a few months back. I've recently been using it on my google homepage and I though I'd share with the less than technical what it can do and why I think it's cool.

So, here is an image of my google homepage:

See the full size image here.

So, if the idea appeals to you (I like it because it does away with the need to download and run separate RSS reading software) then here's a quick how to:

1) Set http://www.google.com as your homepage
2) Click on Personalized Home
3) Click on "add content"
4) Enter the "http://www.planetcatfish.com/core/rss.xml" into the box below "create a section" (and click go).
5) Enjoy catelog updates on your google homepage!

I also added my email to the page and you can see from the screen shot that I added other stuff too. Just thought I'd share!
