On the trip home my new Chrysichthys walkeri regurgitated its last meal, which consisted of partly digested pieces of mussel. I managed to keep most of it from getting into the tank, but some bits escaped. I was going to net them out, but this proved unnecessary because the six hoplos immediately went to work and ate it all. I guess it tasted all the better for being marinated in stomach acid and chymotrypsin.
Just thought I would share this anecdote, and hope it doesn't ruin anybody's lunch break.
Is there anything hoplos WON'T eat?
