hello all i am new here. i have a baby orange bristlenose pleco (about 1.25" tops) in a 10 gallon QT tank and i need to get it out of there. it was originally in my 92 gallon, but it's too small and it kept getting into our filter.
i would like to put it in my 55 gallon until it can grow bigger, but in there i have 2 synodontis eupterus cats (about 2" long each) and 3 clown loaches. i have read around about synodontis and plecos being mixed and my conclusion is that it's pretty much a toss-up of whether they'll get along or not. i'm kind of thinking they will because i can't really see a baby pleco getting in the way of those other catfish too much, but you never know
do you guys think it'd be a good idea?
orange bristlenose pleco and synodontis eupterus?

Hi Sly, Welcome to Planet Catfish.
I don't think it would be a problem to mix the Synos with a bristlenose pleco. I presume you're talking of the regular albino variant when you say Orange... ?
Bristlenoses aren't particularly agressive, and they don't grow that big either, although they probably grow a little bit faster than a Syno.
