tempurature for cory eggs

Post by michael mansour »

My cory just laid about a 100 eggs, and I want to move them to a better tank. Does the water that the eggs are going to be in have to be heated, and if so, to what degree?
thanks

I would think that the temperature should be equal to the breeding tank. One way to achieve this is to have a floating container or breeding net in the actual tank itself. Also, if you move the eggs, make sure you take water from the breeding tank to make sure it's the same water parameters - otherwise the eggs may shock...
