Synonym/common name difference lists?

When I edit a Cat-eLog entry, the Synonym and Common name entries ALWAYS show up as "different", whether I have actually edited them or not.

At first I didn't think much about it, but a few occasions I've actually updated the ACTUAL Synonym records, and here is where this shows itself as an annoying feature, becuase it makes it much harder to see if it's edited correctly or not...

I _think_ this is fixed (I was testing it on which appears to have a full set of test conditions ) but I'd appreciate feedback as there are several issues at play here.

This is now REALLY fixed (it was fixed on localhost and not on the web). V2.2.
