red finned tiger, L076

Post by grhgoldfish »

Recently bred L076 in retangular caves cut from floor tile, in a 75 gallon tank at 78F, pH >7, no substrate on bottom of tank, diet has been algae discs, idaho potatoes, zuchini, romaine, bloodworms, adult brine shrimp and 1.5 mm steel head sinking pellets. Tank has an outside filter and a sponge filter. 50% water change twice a week using an overhead drip emitter and the tank is drilled. I have two questions: Are L076 routinely bred and are the fry put on any specialty foods, The fry are currently still in the tank. Other tankmates consist of red rainbows and a few guppies.
Enjoy your fish everday

I dont think L076 have been bred so many times...if not at all before so you can be the first. Try to give the fry algae discs or if they refuse frozen leafs of lettuce (so they get soft)in the beginning.
