New member and need advice
I am looking for a catfish that doesent get over two feet in lenth and is sort of like the tigrinus catfish. I like the shovelnose look, and the markings. I plan on getting only one catfish and want it to be fairly rare and beutiful. Thank you for your suggestions.

First of all, welcome to planet catfish.
When it comes to "a shovelnose with stripes" that doesn't grow beyond two feet, that's a very tall order, as there are only so many Pimelodidae that are in that range.
Below is a link to a list of all Pimelodidae that grow bigger than 200mm and less than 600mm (8" - 2' roughly)...

Of those, the best match is the , but finding one of those may not be trivial...
