Breeders Award Programme

We will be rolling out the Breeders Award Programme (BAP) shortly after the convention.

Full details will be published in the next CatChat magazine.

We are looking to identify a sub-committee of up to 5 CSG members with a collective responsibility to: enforce the BAP rules; address significant issues (especially changes in taxonomy etc); and arbitrate over any disputes.

The sub-committee currently consist of myself as BAP Secretary, Ian Fuller and Brian Walsh. Steve Pritchard has done a lot of the leg work and may wish to continue involvement as a sub-committee member. It would be particularly refreshing to have a non-U.K. member involved in the programme. Involvement will not preclude you from entering the programme (otherwise I wouldn't be doing it!).

Involvement should not be too onerous, with the majority of decisions being made via e-mail. Issues and resolutions will be reported through CSG committee minutes with the appropriate confidentialty applied.

We are looking to kick things off for the 1st March ('year-zero'), so start conditioning your fish. Only spawnings after this date will be eligible for the programme.
