Is my pl*co a gibby?

Post by LJ »

Hi -

I'm new here and have been overwhelmed going through all the pics trying to ID my pl*co. My best guess is a gibby. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Thanks Rusty -

It was labeled a "Leopard Pl*co" where I bought it, about 8 months and 5 inches ago. I figured it was about time to determine how big my "little" buddy might become and started doing some research. . .
Looks like I'll eventually need either a much larger aquarium or find a more suitable home for him. He's in a 37g tank now, but when bought him, the guy who sold him to me didn't bat an eye when I told him I had a 6 g acrylic set up. Live and learn!
