I have a school of 6 pygmies in a 5 gallon, heavily planted, with MTS, and a male betta.

Anyone know a good way to induce spawning?

First move would be to remove the Beta, he will enjoy pygmaeus eggs. The give a 50% waterchange. I asume that you have both sexes.
