Can someone pls help me with a pair of cat fish I'm about to purchase
Does anyone know what the exact name of this fish is in the cat-elog??

I believe (after some Googling) that you're looking at this:


It may not grow quite that big in captivity, but it still grows too larger for most peoples home aquaria, particularly as it's an active swimmer and quite nervous, so it needs a bigger than than the same size "not so active/nervous" fish. I'd say you need something in the order of 400g/1500ltr at the least to keep one of these once it reaches a more mature size.

Yep, for some reason they have the trade name of "Blue-Line Shark" in Oz.
Leave them in the wild...or on the dinner plate!
