in australian terms you don't use exchange rates. you use rarity, availability and whether or not the fish in question was illegally smuggled in or not...
the suttonorum are without a doubt the only ones in australia, the adults are NOT for sale, and neither are the babies. except to special trusted people. they were purchased in 1986 or 1987 for $1500 ea. p. nigrolineatus cost about $1000 in aus. because they are illegally brought in, the suttonorum only came in once.
Meanwhile, Homer catches a legendary catfish, General Sherman, but to prove his love for Marge he throws it back in the lake...

whoa... Thats quite to expensive for a panaque, even though they are summgled in.. thats to much of a mark up price!!! :?
Too many gorgeous loricariids
So hard to obtain! Grrr....
