Post by andrewcoxon »

hi guys,

iv just set a new tank up for my corydoras weiztmani's and i thought whilst it looked nice i would take a few piccys!

the tank cost me £22  to set up!

also iv been testing my new camera out so iv included a couple of zebra pics from the 3 new fish iv recently bought.

enjoy and any comments or ideas for the new tank are welcome! :)

Nice pictures of the zebra plecs. :D

For the cory tank, I would add a dark backing and some floating plants such as Lemna.

Agreed. Some extra cover (like plants) and a piece of black paper at the back will make them feel much more at ease and - for yourself - it'll be even nicer to watch.

I am always at war with Lemna, Duckweed, so I recommend either Salvinia if you can find some and don't mind working on getting it going but the path of least resistance is Ceratopteris, Water Sprite, a very easy plant to grow and versatile around the fish room..
