alder cones for trade or sale

Post by danb »

I hope this is the appropriate posting spot for this....

Re:http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... hp?t=19561

I have a few bags of alder cones picked directly from the tree, not off the ground. Will sell various sized bags or prefer to trade for home raised cool water fish such as Black Banded Sunfish, Blue Spot Sunfish, Dollar Sunfish possibly some kind of still water darters, C. paleatus or other cool water corys (I ready would like to find corys that
take cool water... they must be out there). Will consider wild caught fish. plants, or live food cultures.

What do you have?

USA trades only, creative offers considered

thanks
Dan

PS. Bear in mind that the alder trees need to be climbed to get the cones and there are not that many of them. The best use for them is to condition water for fish breeding. I really would like to encourage more fish breeding, so that is why I am going to the trouble....

You can add S. barbatus to your list. I've kept them outside here up north and they thrived.

alder cone trade

Hmmmm, I guess you mean during the summer  Yes I would love to have some of those in trade. Is it possible for fish to go across the US-Canadian border without trouble?
