What have I missed?

Post by grokefish »

Hello everyone, I have been working like a dog for the last 5 weeks and havn't had time to watch this space. Can anyone point me to some threads that may be of interest to me?

I know what you mean. If I go away for a few days, there are so many unread posts it's a bit overwhelming. Which species are your favorites at the moment?

ps. Don't forget to relax every now and then and watch the fishies swim. :D

I'm mostly interested in breeding at the moment, anything, I got myself some corydoras the other day (five of them) they are matae and am going to try and breed them. There were adolfi there but the price was unbelievable!
My uarus have breed again, in a tank that contains 8 jaguar cats and a trachycorystes! which just goes to show something, either that these catfish are not that piscivorous (which I have always thought) or uaru cichlids are awsome parents, which is defintate.

Perhaps they don't bother wasting their energy until the fry are bigger. Effort vs reward?

Maybe, I hadn't thought of that. Well we shall soon see.

Have you read this post about the Planet Catfish day out on the 16th/17th June?

Am I right in thinking you are based in South Wales? I am working down there for the weeks either side, so if you fancied going, we could share a lift or something.
