..... of the Geophagus sp. bahia red to defend (and raise) yet another nest against my Auchenipterids and myself (in case I have to be in the tank, my arm gets fiercely attacked). Amazing how they are able to do so at nights; it must be a true ordeal for them pushing those woodcats away from their juvies.
Especially Mum is very active.

Apparently mum and dad are having a row.
After 12 days of biparental care, the male is now constantly chasing the female away, thus leaving the juvies alone to become food.....
Any explanation from someone who knows about "Geophagus" breeding behaviour is welcome.
