Corydoras Spawning?

Post by Purple_Betta »

Hi again. My C. aeneus albinos are swimming around and pacing the glas rapidly and they seem pretty jumpy but they look normal and I added a small dose of melafix to the tank after a waterchange and they're still pacing rapidly. I hope this is just spawning behavior and their not gonna die. Please tell me what to do quickly!!!
I have been spawning bettas most of my time but when I got four albino corydoras aeneus' I got more interested in them and now I want to breed them.

Keep making cool water changes and feed them all the California Black worms they can eat and you will soon see eggs. Stop treating them like they are sick.

Ok Thanks cuz I was thinking that they were gonna die and I was hoping that it's not death. I think the cooler water changes helped a little cuz right now they're just eating not swimming like crazy. I don't have blackworms so can I just use bloodworms?

If your water temperature is high, they may be uncomfortable. Make sure it stays under 27 degrees - I just had a temperature spike after adding a powerhead and removing an air stone - my C. aeneus start swimming around along the glass when that happens.
