Macro Lens Safari

Post by Seedy »

Took a trip up into North Eastern Oklahoma went to Natural Falls State Park, Dripping Springs, Spring Creek and Lake Hudson. I kept the macro lens handy during the trip. Here some of the wilder shots I got. Enjoy!

Let's start with a very close up view of some poison ivy.

Next, we have a Salamander. Not sure of species. I took the pictures near the water fall in Natural Falls State Park...There is a pretty good chance this species is endangered or threatened.

Worton: Love the fungus shots. Very cool.

I have quite a few landscape and other shots, but I'll let my wife post them later. I think we filled up 8 gigs of memory sticks...

There are some catfish, lake, springs, fall foliage a waterfall and other shots...Maybe a surprise or two. 8)

This is a slimy salamander (Plethodon glutinosus). Not something rare (or endangered).

I believe the frog is a Blanchard's cricket frog (Acris crepitans blanchardi).
