Diffirent coryes in one breeding tank

Post by softak »

I am going to put all my coryes in one tank in hopes they will breed.
I have some sterbai, green neon (or green laser) and gold neon.
Will they interbreed?
I do not want that, but have no space for new aquariums for each type.
Now I see, that in community tank greens with greens, sterbai with sterbai and they ar not mixing with each other.

If you have many enough of the same type, they will breed with their own kind, most likely.

There are a few corys that will interbreed with other similar species - there was a thread on that subject about a year or so ago, you may be able to find that with some searching effort.
