Hello to all, I am in need of some help.
I have got an AquaOne 620T tank, about 120-130lts. I have currently got it stocked with 16 cichlids, most of them are under 2" there is also somewhere in the tank a synodontis at about 1.5"
My question is what would be an appropriate algae eating catfish to help control the algae that is growing over the rocks and glass?
Any help or advice offered is greatly appriciated

I need an algae eater for my Malawi Cichlids, please help.

Re: I need an algae eater for my Malawi c*****ds, please help.
Hi.
From your photo it doesn't look like you have a serious algae problem, so I would recommend the common bristlenose plec - .
They are cheap, easy to find, easy to care for, easy to breed and stay small. They are also pretty cool looking too.
It will need more than the algae to stay healthy, so supplement with vegetables and algae wafers after the cichlids go to sleep.
