I was sold a catfish that was labeled false upside down catfish. The catfish i have looks just like the syno comoensis that is pictured on this site. I was wondering if anybody could give me any info on this fish or at least point me in the right direction...
Thank Brian

Re: Synodontis comoensis
You have Synodontis eupterus, which at a juvenile stage of development looks somewhat like S. comoensis.1Brian wrote:I was wondering if anybody could [...] at least point me in the right direction...
As for the real S. comoensis, they are seldom if ever encountered in the hobby, and I would be surprised if anyone on this forum has ever seen a live (or even a dead) specimen. The chances of it being your fish are exceedingly small.
