It should have only one i in the specific epithet (assuming Fishbase is correct, that is).

Correct. This is a new specimen to me. Despite the fact that it already had an author, it lacked synonyms. These have been added.

Again, I was trying to find data for it, so I did a google search, and google said "Do you mean ... " with the correct name (as it turned out when I clicked the correction - doesn't always work out that way, since google sometimes comes up with "misspellings" (usually a completely different word or such) instead of the right name when I search for something I know is correct).Jools wrote:That's been wrong for years, good spot!
