Golden Flathead Info?
I'm trying to find information on a 'golden flathead cat'.
I've found it listed at both Gnathobagrus depressus and Amarginops depressus. all i've found so far is it's in the Bagridae family.
does anyone have any info on this fish? does it have a new name?

Re: Golden Flathead Info?
I am not sure that this fish has been seen outside of the original description. So the answer to your second question would be “no”.

Re: Golden Flathead Info?
Would it be in the Claroteidae now, rather than the Bagridae?

Re: Golden Flathead Info?
That's what Fishbase say. COF doesn't rename it to Amarginops (yet), and Ferraris checklist also has it as Gnathobagrus.Chrysichthys wrote:Would it be in the Claroteidae now, rather than the Bagridae?
