Catfish wont come out....
Catfish wont come out....
Hi everyone i am new to the forum and have read alot of usefull info i just got a tank set up a week or so ago and have three channel cat fingerlets the largest one is about six inches or so i know catfish like dark places but my catfish absoultly will not come out if there is any light at all but once the lights are off they make all kinds of noise in the tank. I had a regular white buld changed to a blue buld and still just hiding in the log. Does anyone have any suggestions for me as far as lighting or anything?
Thanks
josh

Give your fish some time and they will eventually come out of hiding (especially if you schedule feeding times when there is light).

oh ok thanks They came out of a cattle pond that is kinda murky and i was thinking that it may take some time for them to get use to the light. But thank you again for the input
