The data sheet indicates breding is unreported, however numerous posts in the forums would indicate otherwise.

The same applies to tatia sp2 & Entomocorus gameroi

Hi Richard,
I've edited that part for T. intermedia because I've information on this matter myself; I have to think the other two species over and/or have to get input from people involved.
I doubt that saying: "has been bred" will be enough

Agreed - however, Martin S should be able to assist with the other two. Incidently i was toying with getting a pair today as a breeding project as the ones at MA Stratford were in excellent condition (females very plump) & they were only £4.75 each

A couple of notes here that would help with this kind of thing generally.

Firstly is that it helps if you can write the text that you wished changed, then the data submitter can just plug it it. This isn't mandatory by any means, but it does cut down time, widens involvement and also allows a pre-submission discussion on the change if required too.

Secondly, I don't especially like using forum usernames in the cat-elog. It seems too informal to me - maybe just me but I'd prefer.

"Planet Catfish user, Joe Smith, provided pictures showing the x,y,z" as opposed to "Joe90 posted pictures showing x,y,z".

As always however, I'll take what I can get and this is just my view on what I'd like as opposed to what I insist upon.

Well, definitely Tatia sp2, but it may well be, as mentioned in the Entomocorus thread that they didn't actually breed and it was actually the sp2.

Definitely do - the differences between males and females are more obvious once they have settled in - the males are much more slender and smaller than the females. I found yesterday for the first time when feeding bloodworm with the lights on (I normally only feed frozen after lights off) that the 3 sp2 came out and actively hunted down the bloodworm, just like when the lights are off - it was a real surprise to see them so active. If I feed Tetra Prima, pellets etc with the lights on, the sp2 are nowhere to be seen, but it seems they like bloodworm enough to bring them out!

I hope these can be spawned as I have a small group of them. I'm suprised at how large they are getting.
I just assumed that Tatia intermedia was about the same adult size as Centromochlus perugiae, but that is
not the case. They have doubled in size from 2"-4" in just a few months and the females look so huge
they must be getting gravid. I'm going to give them a tank of their own soon, as soon as I can sell enough
Ancistrus juveniles to empty out one tank.
