Folks,
At the behest of someone else, I'm trying to pin down the species name of this whiptail catfish. The fish will reach 11 inches, according to the seller.

it was my thought too but found it was a bit oddly pattern...
The shape look weird too
Is it tank bred??

It looks a bit "wide-angle lensed" to me - perhaps just too much wide-angle lens very close up.
