Removeing silly-coned on stuff
Hello all,
In my usual non-futer thinking way I have sillycones a load of rocks to the tank and now I need to get them off.
Any ideas?
Matt

Sharp knife can cut silicone. If you want to remove the silicon itself, there's stuff at B&Q and such places to remove silicon [but you have to empty the tank and most likely wash it THOROUGHLY afterwards - I have never used it, but I expect it's a solvent-based substance].

Knives, razorblades & very coarse scourers with lots of "elbow-grease" is the best way forward

The rocks are cut flat and getting a blade in would probably be impossible.I was hoping someone new of stuff that disolved it good and proper.

Re: Removeing silly-coned on stuff
I use acetone to remove any residual silicone sealant from glass being resused on aquarium repair projects but it wouldn't work well to remove thick amounts of silicone sealant. Sounds like you may have sealed your fate, Mat.
