When hovering over the CLOG links for

Microsynodontis christyi

and

Microsynodontis batesii

, they both show the same image (that of M. batesii), but with the correct text below.

I think that is caused by the fact that there is a synonym record on M. batesii saying that it is the same as M. christyi. Obviously, we should either not have M. christyi, or the synonym record should be removed.

It seems like the jury is out as to whether it is a single species or two separate species - Silurus (Ng below)seems to think it is two separate, whilst Gosse, 1986 & Ferraris, 2007 [Checklist of catfish ...] lists it as a synonym. I can't really say who is right...

Catalog of fishes lists both species when searching for M. batesii.
