Hi, i've just bought a catfish and synodontis (not sure if theres a diff.) totaly new to these fish.

the pet shop called this one a misterus cat but i cant find anything on google under that name

And all they told me about this one is that s/he is a synodontis.

They're currently being kept with malawi's and I'd like to learn a lot more about them as soon as i know exactly what they are.

I was thinking because of the low adipose fin, darker lateral line and more streamlined look.

Thanks a lot, cant wait to read more on these fish. They're so quiet in the day, but at night, under a blue light they're brilliant to watch.
