Hi there, I haven't found a place that says how to sex glass cats yet but i was wondering if the eys and organs coloring could be used to do it. I have 4 in a tank with some other fish.
I have 2 with black iris' and black pupils so the eyes look more or less on solid black dot with a faint faint pupil outline. They also have very dark internal organs. black/dark gray.
the other two have silver iris' and black pupils so the eyes are easily defined. and their organs, are silver/ very shiny.
Just a thought as to sexing them.
have a good day everyone.

I'm not aware that you can sex silurids this way. The most reliable method, IME, is to examine the pectoral spines. Males (especially mature males) typically have well-developed serrations on the posterior edge of the spine, which is weakly-serrated or smooth in females.

Thankyou silurus, well that means i presumably have all female glass cats. cuz the entire pectoral fin looks to be a perfectly smooth arc all the way around, no serrations anywhere. I like this method, that is pretty darn easy, as long as i can get them with the right background to see the fins. thanks pal.
