Does the Bronze/Albino Cory have a C-Number?
I just added a trio of albino Corydora Aeneus to my tank. They're great little guys and everything I've read about their compatibility in community tanks is right on the money. I keep a log of my fish, including common names, scientific names and registry numbers (like my Pitbull Plecos/LDA-25). I have looked through the C-Number listings here and through the Cat-eLog pages for the Aeneus, but can't find a C-Number for it. Can such a popular fish really not have this classification?

Re: Does the Bronze/Albino Cory have a C-Number?
C numbers were intended for new corydoras, in order to be able to refer to them during the time untill a description was made
Obviously, C aeneus does have a name, and will therefore not need a C number

Re: Does the Bronze/Albino Cory have a C-Number?
Thanks. As you've probably figured out by now, I am new to keeping cats. I love my aquaria, but never gave much thought to my janitors having much personality. I started reading up, when I set up my 18-gallon tank, to avoid getting someone who would outgrow the tank. The pitbull/goby plecos I got are a revelation, both in their efficiency and their personalities (maybe they should have been named for labs, instead of pitbulls!). Today I added the trio of cories, to take care of the detritus that doesn't interest the plecos. They all get along as if they are a school of the same fish!
