hello all.
i picked a lovely trio of these bubblenesters up from a friend. i have confirred with paul turly and he believes them to be hoplosternum sp. cf. pectorale. any ideas would be very appreciated. the fish are all 4 inches long and at least 4 years of age.

WHERE MIGHT I FIND INFORMATION ON THE H.MAGDALENAE? THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE. ALSO I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THE LITORALE GOT TO BE UPWARDS OF 6-7 INCHES?Silurus wrote:These are either H. littorale or H. magdalenae (looks more like H. magdalenae to me, but I'm not too sure).

do you know of a picture or any link where i might get information? also i just saw an article in shanes world on a species of darwf hoplo called lepthoplosternum sp. is this a possibility?
