Sailfin Id

Post by stuart264 »

A friend of mine has been trying to id the Sailfin Pleco she bought and asked me to help, however after spending a few hours going through the catalogue and web pages I am totally stumped.

Can anyone id the plec below? apologies for the bad photo, its a bit camera shy and the bow front on my friends tank doesn't help either

Never seen before.
Is it a "mutant Ancistrus"?
In other words a bred variety.
Looks like an Ancistrus behind those sails.

Edit: Too slow. But I was obviously correct in my guessing.
