Cat-eLog Advanced Search not working properly

Post by Suckermouth »

Hey,

I tried to use the Advanced Search, but got results as if it wasn't filtering by the parameter I gave it. The search I was doing was all loricariids, ordered by size, with a minimum size of 24". However, the results appeared to be out of all catfishes. Since I thought it might be normal behavior for the search not to work unless you specified a genus, I tried to limit it to Hypostomus; while all the hits were only from Hypostomus, it did not filter out all the fish that were smaller than 24" (this search should have given me no hits).

Furthermore, there is a problem with selecting Acanthicus after you've selected Loricariidae. I figure this might be related to this error: http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... =3&t=30403

The advanced search still has some problems. Like suckermouth said before: he's not filtering by the given parameters.

Fixed, and added the option to sort by species name too.
