What is the difference between these two?

and . In the pictures in the catelog.. they look very very similar. I assume size is the main difference visually?

Hi!!

mainly body shape,
aulopygia being more elongated, less rays in the dorsal fin, and shape of the caudal fin

Thanks for that! A LFS had some on their recent in lists, come to find out the sp1 was really intermedius ...

It seems any interesting auchenipterid ends up being intermedius

I know.. and its sad because a lot of places around here wont get them in because they don't sell.
