Parauchenipterus galeatus wild in the US??

Post by nvcichlids »

I was looking through populations of invasive fish today and came across Parauchenipterus galeatus listed. Here is the website: http://nas.er.usgs.gov/queries/SpeciesM ... ciesID=322

Now based on that page, is it saying there is a breeding population in the wild, or that they have been found in the highlighted areas? If that's the case, I will go hunting in Arizona for some when I go visit my aunt!

It's most likely a one-off record, IMO.
