it's happening again, and unfortunately too often.
it's one of the causes (next to that smiley issue that will not be addressed) that's limited my number of postings lately
too often a whole slab of text is eaten by this "501 server error white page thingy" in wich case the whole page within the browser turns white and everything I typed is gone. destroyed. vaporized.
not funny when you can only type with 1 finger like me.
I don't mind spending a lot of time replying to people's questions and all, but I DO get seriously aggreviated when it's just for naught.

I understand, performance had been very poor over the past day, I think due to a technical change that I have made that will pass. Ultimately, in a few days only, it should make pages faster to load.
Meantime, if this happens, you can press the back button on your browser, and, assuming you've not done anything else, the text will still be there and you can either resubmit or copy he text to offline storage (like a word document) for resubmission later.
This reply worked fine - it's an intermittent thing.
