Re: ID Pleco
Lithoxancistrus orinoco is now . I've never seen these fish live, but all of the specimens that have pretty good color are dark with light spots, not light with dark spots.

Re: ID Pleco
Yes, someone making a mistake with the number 127 (typo, number memory problem, etc) could easily end up at 126 instead. And they are from the same region, as well.

Re: ID Pleco
Indeed, they are also flatter.

Re: ID Pleco
I know that the fish on the pics aren't L127,that the importer take a mistake.L127 is flatter and the pattern also are different.
I think at L147 too because they are from the same region (thanks Mats).
After your confirmation now I'am sure on the right ID,L147.
Thank you all.

Re: ID Pleco
Hmm. I think Jools is right with L127, really. The reason I say that is that your fish is also quite flat (and it's from the same area as L126 just like L147). I have L147, and they are quite tall bodied.

I think the OP is thinking I said as opposed to . Scientific name not used intentionally to aid understanding of that mix up.

Re: ID Pleco
Sorry Jools, I just corrected my post. After Jools post, I agree that is the correct ID.
