Headings in cat-eLog too dark.
This might be a new problem - I don't see it reported already.
Cat-eLog pages are displaying all of the main headings, i.e.:
- cat-eLog Data Sheet
- Species Information
- Habitat Information, etc.
in dark gray boxes, which fairly obscure the writing.
Admittedly, I have a very old computer and maybe these display issues are linked to the age of my machine. I loaded many separate pages from the cat-eLog and they all displayed this way.

I agree, we need to change the style of those fields. One for Jools, I'm afraid.

It's near top of my list to look at this. Will have a quick look now.

It's definitely better, but I'd say it would look much better if it looked like the forum headings (like "Topics" over the topic view or the "Identification", "Husbandry", etc in the view of the forums.

Re: Headings in cat-eLog too dark.
I agree, however that needs a bit more research from a stylesheet point of view. I actually tried quickly to do just that yesterday and could not.
I think we keep this unresolved until that, or something similar is achieved.
Cheers

Indeed it is! The page has opened up and the look is much cleaner and "lighter" - as in, it looks less weighty. Too many bands running across the page - as before - cut it up in a disagreeable way, but that is just IMO. The simple line-and-type look that you have now is much better. If you were to increase, slightly, the size type of the headings, that might be a fix you can do now while you consider the permanent look.

Re: Headings in cat-eLog too dark.
I've standardised the layout now with that of the forum and the "my " pages.
I think that the fixes the problem of the heading in the cat-elog being too dark.
