cory behaviour

Post by minkweir »

I saw a post about not being able to predict cory behaviour.....I recently transfered all my peruvian corys to a different 3ft tank...and as soon as I did the corys that remained started shoaling.Interesting result huh?
Maybe corys prefer local fishes company better.

Or they are just feeling lonely and tightening up the group, or something else...

PLEASE!!! Don't anthropomorphize your fish. They really, really hate that. You don't believe me? Just ask them. :-) - Frank

I wasnt,I just think that fish swimming around the tank relaxed seems better than them hiding at the back until the lights go out. :-p

It was a poor attempt at humor.

As for the fish, any perceived improvement in behaviour is always a welcomed surprise. I had this happen with some albino corries when I changed a tank from fake plants to live ones. I always said they were doing the happy dance.
