Will kuhli loaches eat baby corys?

Post by kateswan »

Has anyone kept kuhli loaches with cory cats?

I have a tank unexpectedly full of baby albino &
peppered corys. I'm not as worried about the albinos,
they grow so fast . . . but the peppers are so tiny.
I've seen the loach up front in a heavy planting a lot
lately, not somewhere he usually hangs out during the
day. I'm hoping he's not dining on peppers . . .

I dont think there in much danger. A big kuhli might eat very young corys but thats about all.

Yeah, if the paleatus are more than 2 weeks old, i think they should be out of the woods allready.

If they are younger, i would keep them in the hatching tank.

It is safe to presume, if it'll fit in the Kuhli loaches mouth, it'll eat it. Be that eggs, fry or otherwise.

Iâ??d like to hear how you bred your khuliâ??s. Can you post a note about how you did it? If you (or anyone else) donâ??t like it to be posted on this forum, I could send you an e-mail.

Are you finished with your article about breeding khuli loaches? Can you give me the address to the web site where you have published it? Your email doesn't work...

I have seen kuhlis eat baby guppies. Depends on how small your cory babies are.
